Zipp Introduced 2020 Global Road Teams Lineup

Zipp is proud to support this lineup of professional road teams for the 2020 season. These organizations rely on Zipp’s full lineup of Firecrest and NSW wheels. The go-to wheels are the 303 Firecrest and 454 NSW for road races and 858 NSW and Super-9 Discs for time trials. Beyond wheels, several of our sponsored teams ride Zipp Service Course SL bars, stems, seatpost, and carbon SL Speed or SL Sprint stems. Teams riding Zipp aerobars use the VukaAero integrated cockpit with Vuka extensions.

Movistar Team – Men (ESP)

The Spanish squad placed three riders finish in the top 10 at the 2019 Tour de France, including their captain, Alejandro Valverde (ESP). Young Spanish climber Enric Mas, who has garnered several best young rider jerseys, will challenge at a major tour in 2020.

Movistar Team – Women (ESP)

The women’s team was introduced in 2018 and is led by Spanish road champion Lourdes Oyarbide and Spanish individual time trial champion Sheyla Gutiérrez. In its short tenure, the team has garnered seven national titles, and several major race wins.

CANYON//SRAM Racing -- Women (GER)

With a host of champions in various disciplines, as well as the three Zwift Academy winners, the CANYON//SRAM team reflects incredible talent and diversity. In 2019 the team collected every type of jersey there is, including overall, sprint, climbers, and team. Technologically aggressive, the team was also the first to adopt disc brakes and tubeless. Looking ahead, they will focus on grabbing wins and jerseys anywhere and everywhere in 2020.

WOMEN

Boels-Dolmans Pro Cycling – Women (NED)

One of the world’s premier teams year after year, the Dutch squad won an incredible 17 races in 2019, including four national titles. The “dream team” wrapped up their season number one in the WorldTour team rankings. Heavy hitters include Anna van der Breggen (NED), Christine Majerus (LUX), Amy Pieters (NED), Jolien d’Hoore (BEL), and Chantal Broek-Blaak (NED). We should expect more of the same in 2020.

Hagens Berman Axeon -- Men (USA)

Hagens Berman Axeon’s mission is vital and unwavering: Develop young riders for pro careers and, while doing so, compete like heck against larger, more aggressive teams. The team again features a crop of promising riders from across the globe led by Axel Merckx and crew.

Trinity Racing – Men (GBR)

Formed to develop the emerging talent in British cyclocross, TP Racing’s featured rider is U23 European and World U23 ‘cross champion Tom Pidcock (GBR). Pidcock will continue to race road, but remains focused on cyclocross’ elite category.
