Bissell-ABG-Giant Team and Bike Profile

Zipp is proud to support competive cycling, from top pro teams to grassroots programs helping young riders reach their potential. For aspiring young cyclists, landing a ride on Bissell-ABG-Giant opens the door of opportunity. Bissell-ABG-Giant is a USA Cycling Domestic Elite team based in Indianapolis and Grand Rapids, Mich., dedicated to the mission of promoting young bicycle racers into the professional ranks.

The team, sponsored by Zipp and SRAM, provides support, equipment and opportunities to race at an elite level, often against pros. Bissell-ABG-Giant’s team is made up on a mix of junior and U25 development riders and experienced road racers, including several SRAM employees. The team has a close relationship with the Bissell Development Team, managed by Axel Merckx. One of the Bissell Development Team’s new riders, Nicolai Brochner of Denmark, was a member of Bissell-ABG-Giant last season. U.S. Pro Criterium Champ Eric Young of Optum Pro Cycling competed for the Bissell-ABG-Giant team several years ago while he was a student at Indiana University.

This season, the team will be riding Giant TCR Advanced framesets with SRAM Force 22 components and Zipp Firecrest wheels and Zipp Service Course SL handlebars.
