Mud, cowbells and history – Louisville 2013

An inspiring roster of accomplished veterans and promising young riders will rely on Zipp wheels and components at this weekend’s UCI Cyclocross World Championships in Louisville, Ky.

Throughout the 2012-2013 cyclocross season these athletes have counted on the Zipp 303 Firecrest -- the go-to wheelset for ‘cross -- as well as Zipp’s stiff and lightweight line of Service Course SL bars, stems and seatposts.

This year marks the first time since its creation in 1950 that cyclocross’ biggest event is being held outside of Europe. In fact, Louisville, site of the 2013 championships, is just a couple of hours from Zipp’s office and factory in Indianapolis.
