A whole lot of winning
Cyclocross is heating up. Triathlon is wrapping up. In either case, Zipp-sponsored pros are battling their way onto the podium.
American Linsey Corbin roared back from a disappointing swim to post a bike split of 4:51:34 and run split of 3:05:57 – both race best – to win Ironman® Arizona. Her victorious time of 9:01:44 must have seemed especially sweet since she has finished second in the race the past three years. In the men’s race, American T.J. Tollakson put in a fine performance to place third.
Ironman® 70.3 Shepparton
Terenzo Bozzone, back from an Achilles injury, added another gem to his string of successes with a convincing victory at Ironman® 70.3 Shepparton. His time of 3:46:59 was almost 5 minutes ahead of second place. It was his third straight 70.3 win.
The Jingle Cross Rock three days of cyclocross, Iowa
Three wins in three races. That’s how the Cannondale p/b Cyclocrossworld.com Team rolls. On Day 1, Jamey Driscoll took first. The next day, Tim Johnson claimed victory and Ryan Trebon was second. On Day 3, Johnson grabbed his second win, as Driscoll was second. And, oh, they were all riding 303 Firecrest wheels.
