Super day for Vanhoenacker

Last weekend at the Frankfurter Sparkasse Ironman® European Championship, Marino Vanhoenacker confirmed his standing as one fast guy on the bike. The Belgian made his move on the 112 mile (180.1 km) cycling leg on his way to victory.

Riding a Zipp 808 Firecrest in the front and Super-9 Disc in the rear, Vanhoenacker looked speedy and steady in the rain as he covered rain-soaked cycling course in 04:26:25. He’d finish in 08:03:31, more than 6 minutes in front of second place.
